The Great Outdoors & DIY Weekend Show, November 25-27, 2011

You won’t want to miss:

·       Survivor Champion Boston Rob Mariano’s presentation and Survivor-style challenge at the show – Saturday, November 26 – 11:00 am; followed by a Q&A and autograph session.

·    Indoor Ziplining with Tree Top Trekking - take a high flying adventure right over the show - 30 feet off the show floor and 100 feet long - get the adrenalin pumping.

·    Endangered Species Fund of Canada – come and see endangered animals such as cougars, tigers, lemurs, arctic wolves and a red tailed hawk –a lot to learn about protection – 2:30 pm only each show day.

·    Siberian Huskies Sledding – these amazing dogs from Haliburton Highlands will show us how to cross country ski with your family dog...it is the latest trend called -  skijoring.


·    Pointer Dogs – for folks who take their dogs cottaging, camping or hunting; meet some amazing field dogs, learn about canine first aid and nutrition.

·      Paddling Pool – all weekend long, come and watch demos on kayaking, canoeing, kayak fishing and stand-up paddling.

·    Women of the Outdoors – four women who fish, hunt and really make the outdoors their own - Vanessa Harrop, Amanda Lynn Mayhew-Hare, Kathryn Maroun and Mariko Izumi – Sunday, November 27, 11:30 am only – followed by an autograph session.
