The rage over the last two years has been swimbaits. The Alabama rig has fuelled the fire the hottest. A great cross over bait has been the skinny dipper baits like Trigger X's Slop Hopper. It's slimmer profile with a large boot or thumper tail sets them apart from conventional swimbaits.
The Slop Hopper is equally at home ripped over lilies and grass or rigged with a jighead. At 4.5 inches long and available in a wide assortment of colours, they're a great choice in open water or heavy cover.
