2013 CSFL Classic Day 2: Janzens Remain Leaders as Weights Improve!

Day 2 was cold but more inviting than many expected. With Lake Simcoe and Lake Couchiching both open to the Classic anglers, weights went up dramatically. Erny and Franklin Janzen duplicated their Day 1 performance scoring 20.3lbs today and remain in the lead with 41.15lbs for 10 bass. The Johnson brothers proved again that they know smallmouth and sacked the day's heaviest creel with 22.8lbs and advanced to 6th place. The day's big bass, a 6.6lb beauty, was brought to the scales by Ryan and Callum Johnson. They currently are sitting in 4th place with 37.2lbs.

Day 3 will surely be a nail biter. Many 20 pound plus tournament limits are possible, so if any of the leaders slip, even a little, it might spell doom for them.
