With one day to go on Sturgeon Lake, Ontario, the team of Lacey and Vivian have a slight lead with 33.4lbs  The CSFL National  Classic XIX winners will be crowned tomorrow.

Justin Woolacott and Jay Taylor Win 2014 Top Bass Sturgeon Lake with 19.1 lbs.

Top Bass visited Sturgeon Lake for their sixth qualifying event on Sunday, July 27, 2012. Sturgeon Lake is nestled in the heart of the Trent Severn system and offers anglers plenty of fishing opportunity. Smallmouth and largemouth are plentiful and offers tournament anglers a variety of fishing choices.

Justin Woolacott and Jay Taylor bested them all with 19.1 lbs and distanced themselves from second place team of Paul Moussias and Dave Hughes by 2 pounds.  Justin and Jay captures $3600 prize money plus the bonus of winning big bass with a 5.85 giant.

Big Fish Mix Up

I made a mistake in identifying the Top Bass Sturgeon Lake Big Bass winner. This proud angler is Shawn Skinner. He and Graig Arvay finished in 20th place with 13.20 lbs anchored by this 6.02 brute. Sorry for the mix up guys.

Jarrod Dean and Gerard Cocks Win First Top Bass Tournament of 2013!

Top Bass Fishing Series is entering its 20th Anniversary and it's first tournament of the year was a huge hit. Top Bass had 85 teams who battled it out on Sturgeon Lake located in the town of Bobcaygeon Ontario but no one out fought the team of Dean and Cocks on Saturday, June 22. Super star team Jarrod Dean and Gerard Cocks took the trophy with 20.80lbs narrowly edging out Steve Wisniewski and Scott Tunney who landed 20.50lbs.

Even with this 6.02 lb bass, it wasn't enough to grab the lead for
Steve Wisniewski and Scott Tunney.
