ICAST 2012: Live Target Poppin' with Excitement

NEW Frog Popper
Grand Island, NY - Koppers Fishing, the makers of LIVETARGET life-like lures, are bound for Orlando, FL, and looking for a hat trick victory in the ICAST New Product Showcase competition. Koppers enjoyed back-to-back wins in 2010 and 2011 in the soft lure class. The company will unveil its 2013 marquee product this coming Wednesday; a popper frog, which will contest in the hard lure competition.

“A win in hard lures this year would be a great success story,” states company founder Grant Koppers, who says the bait is unique, innovative and looks fantastic in the water. “The challenge with conventional poppers has always been the profile,” explains Koppers. “Most poppers appear as cone-shaped and very unnatural in appearance. We designed a fleeing frog profile with a built-in clear popper lip. As a result, fish will focus on the frog profile and 3-D anatomical markings and are more likely to engage.”

ICAST 2012: Flash Mob Jr. by Yum

Flash Mob Junior With Colorado and Willow Blades

Big flashy profile in a smaller package

Fort Smith, Ark. – Sometimes bass and stripers are feeding on big baitfish, but there are times when a smaller offering gets more action. Anglers are discovering that full-sized multi-lure rigs are great in summer and winter, but after the baitfish spawns these big, bulky rigs get ignored. That’s when a smaller multi-lure rig shines – especially if it’s equipped with four flashing blades. The YUM Bait School Technology Flash Mob Junior is a downsized 5-wire YUMbrella rig with four spinning blades positioned midway down the outer arms. Two versions are available – one with Colorado blades and one with willows.
