Dear IBASSIN.COM,
I am heading back down to Alabama at the end of the week to distribute more food and supplies to the victims who have been devastated by the recent tornados. We will also be helping the folks in the surrounding states as well as the people who are being affected by the flooding from the Mississippi.
I started a non profit 501(c)3 Christian based organization in 2010 called Anglers Feeding America, Inc. My vision of the organization was to utilize anglers and companies within the outdoor industry to help feed low income families around the holidays and help people who are facing devastation from natural disasters. These people are our fans and our customers who support our companies and enjoy the great outdoors.
Hatfield Quality Meats of Hatfield, PA has donated $2,000 to our organization as well as 50,000 hotdogs to help feed people in the south. We have purchased an additional 10,000 bottles of water from Redners Grocery in Reading, PA who gave us a wonderful discount on the water. Burris Logistics of Milford, DE has donated a driver and a 53' refrigerated tractor trailer to deliver the hotdogs and water to the south. The truck will be leaving on Thursday morning. Don McDowell of Shake, Rattle & Troll radio in Arizona has raised over $1,000 himself and has been a tremendous support to our organization.
I have been doing many radio & TV interviews through out the country in the past few weeks to raise money and supplies for the people in the south. I'm sure many of you and your companies have helped as well but if there is any way you can help donate to our cause we would appreciate it.
We have a list of supplies needed on our home page as well.
