Sebile and Pure Fishing Part Ways

As reported in Angling International, Patrick Sébile, widely considered to be among the most elite of the world’s lure designers, has left Pure Fishing. It is seven years since he sold his lure brand to the industry’s biggest manufacturer. The ebullient Frenchman spent his last day at the company walking the show floor of the EFFTEX trade show in Budapest in an unofficial capacity. His departure comes as a result of the major restructure taking place under Newell Brands, which purchased Pure Fishing from Jarden last year. Pure Fishing CEO John Doerr also leaves the company this week, having been replaced by Neil Eibeler.
