Toronto Sportsmen’s Show is Moving to The International Centre on March Break in 2016

The Canadian National Sportsmen’s Shows is pleased to announce that a multi-year agreement has been finalized that will see the 69th edition of the Toronto Sportsmen’s Show being held March 16-20, 2016 at The International Centre, located at 6900 Airport Road in Mississauga.

RETURN TO A 5 DAY FORMAT
Canada’s Greatest and Most Historic Sportsmen’s Show will return to its traditional five day format at The International Centre.

EASILY ACCESSIBLE LOCATION AND FREE PARKING
Jennifer Allaby, Ontario Regional Manager of the Canadian National Sportsmen’s Shows and Show Manager of the Toronto Sportsmen’s Show is excited by the prospects offered by this new venue.
“The International Centre is positioned in the middle of the Greater Toronto Area (GTA), at the junction of seven major Ontario highways. It’s also one of the only facilities of its kind to offer free parking for over 5,000 vehicles. The benefit of complimentary parking at The International Centre is that it dramatically lowers the cost of attending the show”, said Allaby.

LISTENING TO EXHIBITORS AND ATTENDEES
“In discussions with many of our valued exhibitors and attendees it became very clear that they preferred the show’s traditional family oriented March Break dates” remarked Walter Oster, Chairman & CEO of the Canadian National Sportsmen’s Shows. “I am sure everyone realizes how difficult it is to relocate a show the size of the Toronto Sportsmen’s Show, therefore I am extremely pleased that we have been able to enter into a new long term agreement with The International Centre to hold the 2016 Toronto Sportsmen’s Shows on the March Break time slot.”

ICAST 2013: Day 2 Photo Gallery

By Luigi De Rose

Day 2 was a busy one. Saw a lot of old friends and made some new ones. Even got to chat with the master Roland Martin. That doesn't happen everyday. Here is a glimpse of the ICAST Day 2.
Roland Martin and myself.

Holy crap! Not sure if that deer is real but the Lucky Strike guys
love their bucks, they had a whole booth full!

A packed Strike King booth.

Chip Leer said he took the Grayhound bus from Minnesota all
the way to Vegas. Not sure if he was joking but a trip that long is not funny.

Did some great videos with Shaw at the Quantum booth.

Morizo Shimizu with the new Evergreen Cranking rods.

FLW Pro Shinich Fukae showing what Megabass rods are all about.

A new clip from Gamakatsu.

Bassmaster Elite angler Aaron Martens. He did the funniest
video ever. It is full of follies.  I am still laughing.

Coolest Tackle Box Ever!

Once in a while you see something totally cool. At the recent Spring Fishing and Boat show in Toronto, I chatted with the gang at Megabass. Theo, the Canadian dealer for Megabass showed off the Asylum. The Asylum is one wickedly, majestic lure box with slide out spinnerbait slide tray. Only Yuki Ito could concock such a tackle storage system.

Enough storage for all your topwaters and cranks.

Each have their own slot and the whole thing is vented.

A top lid for tools, line or more Megabass baits.

Slide out spinnerbait rack. Not sure what this thing cost?
